I was born in Mexico and came to Florida when I was ten years old. I joined the team at University Wellness and Weight Loss Centers, LLC, after gaining valuable experience in Organizational Management and Customer Service. As the new Center Director I strongly believe that patients should always be treated like family members and not like another appointment in the system. I also want to make sure that every story is a success story.

Jose Farfan
I was born in Ecuador but raised in Queens, New York, and moved to South Florida when I was twenty years old. I completed my schooling to be a medical assistant, and my first job as an MA was working for a podiatrist. That was when I realized that healthcare was my field, and that this first job was only a stepping stone. I now have an AA, am a Certified Registered Medical Assistant, a Certified Nurse Assistant, and certified in basic life support and CPR, with all certifications received from Miami-Dade College. I also recently finished my prerequisites for nursing. Working here at the Wellness Center gives me pleasure because of the people we help to have a better and healthier life... And working with the crazy Doc and great staff is also a plus for me. I am very social, fun and outgoing.
